Samsung hints towards a larger battery for the Galaxy Note 9, set to unveil August 9.

Samsung has confirmed numerous new features today, weeks ahead of the August 9th unveiling event in New York City. has now started teasing its new flagship smartphone. The first teaser that Samsung posted on YouTube today highlights reports that the Galaxy Note 9 will tout a new battery life.

A sizable increase in battery life is a notable feature as Samsung remains cautious since the beginning of Note 7s exploding battery incidences over the span of three years. The company apologized and implemented new safety mechanisms in the process.
Recent reports have suggested that the Galaxy Note 9 is going to feature a 4,000mAh battery. The advancement is a significant improvement in the battery department for the Galaxy Note 9, considering the fact that the Galaxy Note 8 has a 3,300mAh battery.

Today, Samsung has hinted towards these new developments for its next flagship smartphone by highlighting the handset will address one of the core issues stemming from battery life.

"We are becoming increasingly more demanding of our smartphones and it becomes a challenge to provide substantial battery life without making the device thicker or heavier. Gains have to be made elsewhere before the battery capacity can be increased on flagship smartphones," technology reports state from BGR.

Samsung now lauds that the Galaxy Note 9 will join the list of smartphones that offer a larger battery quality. Confirmation of the targeted size, involving a 4,000mAh capacity, have not been fully endorsed in advance, however, it has been mentioned in multiple reports from both unverified and credible sources
